Insiders, if you could have one of Ian Jackson or Dame Sarr for next year, who would you go with?

I tend to lean Sarr just due to defensive potential/ capabilities alone.

Sounds like Memphis & Ole Miss are the most involved with AJ Storr but we’ve kicked the tires …

FWIW - Price is about the same for him and Adam Miller …
Talent for talent it's Storr and not close at all

You bring in Storr he's a focal point on offense. Can or will Illinois offer that if Sarr is also option?

Potential things go south with Storr if Sarr is later brought in. Id still bring in Storr as I believe Sarr is much more raw offensively than Will but leaps & bounds better defensively. Storr also gives you someone that can get to and consistently score at the bucket.....which this team DESPERATELY needs. Please not another year of chuck & pray from deep.

If Memphis/Ole Miss involved, I don't like chances with Storr. With Haggarty likely departing Memphis, Storr will be able to ball out there.

I'm of the mind that if we get Sarr, and assuming we strike out on Jackson/Coward, we should go for both Storr and Miller. Winner takes the starter spot or comes off the bench. Miller better floor and Storr higher ceiling so best of both worlds.

Not sure what to make of Monsanto... Definitely appears he can knock down an open 3. But that UTSA team was awful. On the other hand, as the season went on he played HUGE minutes and seemed to get better (perhaps as he got more and more healthy).

Who said close to a million? Honestly asking if that's an assumption being made or if that is the number he asked for

I don't think he's just a shooting specialist, he is an experienced 5th year player, very good defender, definitely brings a whole lot more (jmo)
Not an assumption

NIL being equal, who would you all rather have next year?
  • AJ Storr
    or
  • Adam Miller
Storr and not even close

This team needs an athlete that can get to and finish consistently at the bucket. Kylan has moments can get to and finish there but simply isn't able to ever amongst trees

I don't like the odds of landing Storr if particularly Memphis involved. They'll be able to offer platform to pile up #s in his final college season.
