Saying painter is doing good with little NIL must not be so true since Smith, Loyer and Kaufman are getting 12 million between them as reported yesterday.

Let me stir the pot a bit on a topic I've been banging on since this whole NIL mess started.

It seems our NIL power for basketball players relative to the field may be waning a bit.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the board, football is recruiting its best class in a generation.

It's patently obvious this is the same pot of money, and yet we act surprised when that manifests itself.

Yep, follows on with what some of us said yesterday: success will get donors to pay up, mediocrity will see the money dry up.

Whats the plan at PG? I have all the confidence in the world for this staff to surprise me but the process has been disappointing to say the least. If I were a betting man, I would put my money on us entering next year with a strong roster but the past few weeks have really sucked the life out of me.
