I mean, it does seem kind of obvious we aren't getting Sarr doesn't it? I'm sure we have given him our best offer at this point and he hasn't agreed to it. Does anyone logically think we aren't going to be outbid here? Look at our NIL history and show me where we have won a similar battle. Riley was a late in the game reclass. Sarr is front and center right now well out from the deadlines and way before everyone else has expended all their NIL money. It reminds me a lot of the AJ Storr fiasco. He was 100% definitely coming here...until he wasn't. We love to talk up guys on this board who we should know are not coming.

Will we lose out on him due to money or just preferring the opportunity elsewhere?

Both … There’s some donors who aren’t giving as much … Some have issues with Brad and staff … Some just simply are more interested in football now … But I talked to one specific donor who told me he’s “over it” … I asked more specifically and he stated the landscape of college athletics as well as how Brad is choosing to run the program …

I’ve voiced my concern about this staff and their abilities in game and recruiting and taken a lot of heat for it … We got Josh Dix on campus and literally no one else in the portal wants to even visit ???? That’s a PROBLEM !!!!

No coaching changes … PROBLEM !!!!

Better f’ing work Brad … Better f’ing work …

That 7th place finish and barely beating a double digit seed 🐂 💩 ain’t gonna work every year …

I think there’s a strong chance we wind up with neither …

The number I’ve been told is $2.5 for Sarr …
As soon as Sarr started to really blow up and make a name for himself over here, I started feeling pretty concerned for our chances of landing him. Someone is going to throw stupid money at him. You know that's going to happen.

People seem to forget, we landed KJ after we missed on Egor Demin. You could argue we pivoted after we saw them both, but from what was reported, it certainly sounded like Demin was the primary target and after BYU threw stupid money at him, we said we'll take KJ. Could Hugo Gonzalez be the pivot option this time, or is he Europe until he's ready for the NBA?

Also, Sarr does have a 'buy it now' price but the people with the money don't want to do that

Yep, sounds like either USC or Oregon for Sarr. Incredible! This is a terrible look for Underwood. No way to sugar-coat it.

He may be holding out for other reasons. He could still go to the league.

Football retention is off the charts. Shows what a coach who overachieves can do. I think donors see they’re not getting ROI with Brad.

If any of this is even remotely true, it's basically what I was warning about. Donors aren't going to pay for mediocrity...

Anyone remember what the date was last year when the Storr recruitment fell through for good? Wasn't it right around this time?

I feel like Brad's tenure is on its downward spiral unless he can somehow get to the 2nd weekend next year. Odds seem against it right now. Anxiously waiting to see who we finish the roster with.

I’m not saying this is fact as it’s all upset donors venting and being frustrated …

But multiple people who donate high 6 and one I know 7 figures+ in communication with me saying if we aren’t going to be able to be competitive next year at the top level, they may just put that money towards the buyout …
