I'd wager Sarr committed a while ago, but we have been unwilling to fully take it/go public. Sarr carries the risk that he stays in the draft process. Why let him publicly announce and prevent you from fielding other transfers?

Get old stay old. My guess is donors won’t pay more for Sarr because he’s a first year college basketball player. They would rather pay for a proven older college player. Go OA!

I’m not going to blame a donor one bit for looking at how the last 3 weeks have gone with recruits (especially Sarr) and not feel totally disheartened by the entire landscape of the sport.

What’s the point of throwing money around when you’re just gonna get beat by Oregon/BYU and do your money goes to above average players that work but aren’t exactly what Brad wants (not to say we are gonna get everyone he wants, but I’d rather get more Plan A guys than Plan C)

If we end up getting Watkins and Miller then my suggestion for the people in the know is maybe not bring every little up and down bit of information to the board.

Loyalty has a terrible reputation across CBB online because of things like this.

will we get a chance to match bid for sarr considering existing relationship? if so, and our donors are willing, then it doesn't necessarily matter that we aren't the highest bidder right now - as long as it doesn't exceed our donors WTP
