Should have some clarity on Adam soon:

Option One: takes a little bit less money and comes home/wants to win at Illinois.
Option Two: highest bidder.

I would lean Illinois, but won't be surprised either way.

Also, never know with the portal, but I expect Andrej to be committed to Illinois within the next week.

If there ever was a word that doesn’t fit with portal talk….🤣

Stojakovic, Ace and Humdinger makes a good deal of sense.

My only question on a functional level for that roster is what do we do when Boswell isn't on the floor, or god forbid if he gets injured?
If he comes back his name is humbuckethous... Not something I want but if he does come back I'll clearly root for him.

Any word on Monsanto? Still an option?

I feel like by now the staff should have a pretty good idea on what he’s going to decide. They gave him the final offer. If they’re still uncertain then I’d assume that means he’s probably going elsewhere

This has been a huge question for me as well. What does our PG role look like if Bos is injured, in foul trouble etc.

What other pivots do we still have out there in terms of PG targets? Would imagine the staff wants an older guard who has experience with the ball in their hands.

@LvilleILL @Indy Illini Fan any thoughts or insight?

Think Ty or Andrej can run the point in an emergency. Also expect them to add 3 more guards/wings so whoever that third guy is ideally could help.
It would be pretty foolish to try to save money for a 3rd guy we have no playing time for versus ensuring the Stojakovic deal gets done.

To me, if the Miller thing can't happen, especially if we have Stojakovic locked in (who is not a PG at all, not a ball-sharer, but is a big time scoring wing), the Miller alternative ought to be much more PG-focused.

One nice thing about Boswell is that he's a true PG that is nonetheless comfortable and effective sliding off-ball some of the time.

I am staying positive. My nephew is a Baylor fan and they lost nearly everyone this year. I realize that the news around here has been pretty dire throughout this time period but the retention this year on the team has been pretty good. A great wing, a really good guard and possibly back up point and I think we are set. Ty really adds a lot to this team and I for one am glad that he is back! If Hummer stays, that is a good bench piece to have. I would love to see Ace come back but given $ is $, he may go for the bigger pot.

If it’s me …

I’m not bringing Ben back …

I’m bringing in Andrej, Ace, Monsanto, and Nate Calmese …

I like the Calmese kid and Wake Forest bag ain’t tough to beat …

IMO - we need a proven point guard … Old … Veteran …

Brad will likely go about things differently …

Is Brandon Lee capable at pg?
This summer, Lee said he’s added more ball handling skills, which has really expanded his game. He can now run the point when needed and create his own shot off the dribble. With his shooting ability, that creates quite a deadly scoring combination.

The third guy would be the last add after ideally the first two are done.

Is the Adam Miller price around seven figures?

Are we saving money for next year or??
Ace and Andrej can't be 5.5 million as stated yesterday to be our remaining budget ..

No 3rd option mentioned is in the "Stud NIL" range

A player who shot 42% from the field in the ACC (not the strongest defensive conference) is a "big time scoring wing?"
