Despite some of the meltdown here, if this happens, going from: Kylan, Ty, Sarr, Mirk, Tomi to: Kylan, Ty, Andrej, Mirk, Tomi is no doubt an upgrade IMO.
I disagree, as does the NIL marketplace, as might the NBA.

But Andrej is a good player who would be a big pickup for us.

I recall that Hawkins was a very good defender on forwards and guards when he switched on to them. He just wasn't a good defender when he had to guard BIG centers down on the block.
It never made sense to me why Dainja didn't play more on that team, even if it came at the cost of Ty playing less.

But then you start to get into the reasoning behind the Chester breakup and the reinvention of the way we play. Dainja, Ty, Sencire, Hansberry, you just can't play offense having these guys on the floor together, even as they are overall positive impact players individually.

Why ?

They literally talked to him maybe an hour ago … Their offer remains the same …

They’re a major threat for him …

Uk still active, as they should be, but this also puts them in a very tough position to land another 1-2 option. Drej certainly can't wait around to see what Oweh does and miss losing out on a bag of cash from another school.

At the same time, UK absolutely cannot prioritize a transfer over their returning player that flourished for Pope if he wants to come back.

Aberdeen with a $2 million asking price with a career average of 5ppg and is a 40% shooting guard, but Morez asking for $2 million was considered extreme 3-4 weeks ago.
I know... this is why it's best to move early and quick. Does a player like Morez who obviously signed for well under market value in retrospect have any recourse? Can they go to U of M and ask for more or are they locked in?
