That is a top-10 starting five but the bench isn’t very deep. Could be a similar situation to Maryland where we have 5 starters who light it up but very little production from the bench. Monsanto or a similar guard would be a MASSIVE pickup to take this team from a top 25 team to a top 5-10 team with depth. If we get Stoja though I’m confident to roll the ball out against anyone

What difference does it make how a 1 and done is classified? Just enjoy watching him for however long he is around. This is a new concept for us Illini fans. Going to take a minute to get used to.

I think Lee might be able to give some DGL minutes later on in the year. Also wouldn’t be surprised if Brad’s hunting another vet guard for low $.

Tomi was a 21 year old sophomore.
I assume he will be a 22 year old junior(or maybe even sophomore).
Ivisic, Ty, and Ben would be a very good bench (possible Jake or Lee as well).
Everyone is (almost) a one and done in this new day off college basketball. So what the heck, welcome to Champaign-Urbana!
Had heard the name but knew the price tag was pretty big. Heard they got a bit of a discount because of the connection with the agent. In terms of a commitment though very surprised.

Even better, at one point the team was called Mega Soccerbet.
i'm not saying ur wrong, but that's a pretty high bar at the moment - to probably take him over quite a few of those guys ranked in the 10-20 range.

We would have Big Z, Ty and Hummer who all have started a lot of games on good teams plus a returnee in Jake coming off our bench- I think it might be one of the most experienced, good, deep benches we’ve had in a long time
