That is a top-10 starting five but the bench isn’t very deep. Could be a similar situation to Maryland where we have 5 starters who light it up but very little production from the bench. Monsanto or a similar guard would be a MASSIVE pickup to take this team from a top 25 team to a top 5-10 team with depth. If we get Stoja though I’m confident to roll the ball out against anyone

I mean Maryland didn't really have a bench. Simply having Ivisic, Ty/Mike, and even Hummer/Davis is way better than there bench this year.

That being said I would like another big guard that can defend.

It's like Duke, NC Kansas or Kentucky. It feels kind of icky but we will adjust. Especially if the team gets to the FF more often.

I spent all last offseason convinced Tomi would have NCAA clearance problems and then completely didn't understand the (positive in substance and timing!) ruling on him.

Here comes round 2.

This is someone whose profession has been playing basketball in exchange for money for like 4 years. How is this possible?

It's always better to have a combination of both, but at some level, to be really really good, you have to have a star or two. Not sure that value will do that. Also, it's TBD whether we'll have two star level players.

It's all an unknown, but it'll be interesting to watch it unfold.
