You don’t think a bench that has Ben as its 4th best player is deep? Guy started a million games for us last year. I’d argue the issue lies more at the top of the roster, but that’s nitpicking.Starters:
Petrovic
KB
Stojakovic
Mirk/Rodgers
Ivisic
Bench:
Ivisic
Mirk/ Rodgers
Jake Davis
Hummer
Wagler
Lee
That is a top-10 starting five but the bench isn’t very deep. Could be a similar situation to Maryland where we have 5 starters who light it up but very little production from the bench. Monsanto or a similar guard would be a MASSIVE pickup to take this team from a top 25 team to a top 5-10 team with depth. If we get Stoja though I’m confident to roll the ball out against anyone
This isn't copyright infringement, but it should be.
Our Serbian (Mormon) pipeline. Ask BYU why they field 22 year old freshman who are married with 3 kids.Tomi was a 21 year old sophomore.
I assume he will be a 22 year old junior(or maybe even sophomore).
If there isn't one...I will beIf there is a tracksuit night at the State Farm Center, I will be very disappointed.
IMHO...very poorly due to no defense and soft play. But their basic skills are pretty solid.Hey why not. I'm ready to find out the answer to that age-old question: How would a professional Adriatic League team do if it played in the Big Ten? We'll see!
Name checks out...Closer to trademark infringement, I think it’s too short to be a copyright violation.
I did a post on the Eurpean leagues ~2 years ago. Search for adriatic by grue2 for more details.Thank you for this info.
You just can't overstate the size of this opportunity. Strike this iron HARD while it's hot. The early mover advantage here is huge.
Andrej is probably somewhat more talented than Petrovic, certainly the more eye-catching athlete, but you just can't overstate the age/development/provenness advantage Petrovic has.
(I am overstating "you can't overstate" lol. You can't!)
It's not the best European league by any stretch, but it's a very high quality one. I don't know what "4th tier" even means.
Trent only played 16 games there and then transferred to another league within the same season. You're over-reading that comparison.
Oh it's an honorary title for sh!ts and giggles....and to be sure, I'm a repeat offender of dated humor!
Cool insight!i dont like the title of "insider" but im happy to share some things you might be interested in those euro guys you are connected to. I have zero sources its just common knowledge over here. I get whole Soviet jokes but at this point they're kinda dated
For those wondering why Mega Superbet - just check who is the guy doing commercials for them
Not happening tonightPraying for another boom tonight
Andrej still on campus. We should hear news in the next 24 hours.
Not perfect (think Greece is underrated here and Germany perhaps overrated) but pretty good ranking.I did a post on the Eurpean leagues ~2 years ago. Search for adriatic by grue2 for more details.
League play quality, roughly ordered within a line:
1) Euroleague (A cross cutting of the top teams from the national leagues.),
2) Spain ACB, Turkey BSL
3) [German BBL, Russia VTB], Italy LBA, Israel, France LBA
4) Adriatic, Greek, Australia
5+) China, Japan, Korea, Philippines (Alphabetical; all bad.)
Damn.Not happening tonight
I buy that. Though of course as you note the Euroleague draws from all of those leagues (a la soccer's Champions League) there are two Euroleague teams in the Adriatic league.I did a post on the Eurpean leagues ~2 years ago. Search for adriatic by grue2 for more details.

I keep reading about how basketball is getting more popular in Germany. I think the German and French leagues are stronger than they used to be, by virtue of being so much richer than the areas of Europe where basketball is more popular. They can just buy good players. Not perfect (think Greece is underrated here and Germany perhaps overrated) but pretty good ranking.
