There are folks on this forum who would be such fun to negotiate against. So much panic and despair. So little staying power. That is not everyone but I hope a few of you have no connection with any sort of negotiation process.

I am enjoying this ride and look forward to results for us all to have names and faces for this new group. And thanks to the insiders for sharing what you can when you can. It makes the ride more fun.

Kendall Gill’s Uncle
The loyalty board remains on edge,
will Andrej commit or will he hedge?
The Insiders gave Booms to say he’s in,
but the recruiting carousel continues to spin.
Some say his announcement should have come within 24 hours,
what could be happening, have Brad and OA lost their powers?
Is our bag not big enough, is his camp full of fakes,
we usually lock these things down at the Original House of Pancakes.
The board says something better happen quick or we will never win again,
hopefully there’s a guy in a black shirt selling hotdogs that says he is comin’

Final decision has been made privately from what I heard. Graphic could be released at any time, not even going to guess a timeline at this point. Shouldn't go past Tuesday worse case is what I will say. Pretty confident it's us.

Small chance he picks UNC, but we have way more things working in our favor right now.

This post need a solid beat track to be fully realized. Surely one of you can make that happen. Great start.

I'm pulling for a 3:00 am time frame. We seem to do well in that period but really any time that it shows an Illini decision will be fine. Thanks.

I lived in Cicero with many Eastern Europe immigrants, Morton High School, on Austin Blvd and bakeries all along 22nd Street. The smell of kolaches baking, grape coffee cake ...oh so. good .

Regardless of the outcome with Andrej, one of the lessons learned should be that one-sided, “inside” information is often incomplete.

While agents have certainly been at the forefront of portal madness, in this specific case it’s the player who is taking his time and weighing everything in front of him. Not just the money.

We should still acknowledge that we have much more longstanding trust in this board's insider crew than we do in any of these recruits

We will never learn this lesson. Even outside the context of college basketball or even the portal madness, it's like people have never been heavily leaning towards a decision and then had a change of heart (for whatever reason) at the last minute. It's not an overly complicated concept, but one that seems foreign to a surprising amount of people. Anyway, hope we get Andrej, but I hope no one holds it against any posters if we don't.
