Gotta look at that and think they are 1 good piece away from special. Need to push Ben down one notch. Could use a highly athletic 2/3 type. Would serve both as insurance on Petrovic with eligibility and a compliment to roster as it sits. Would in the best case give you 3 guys to cover 2 spots and 3 guys for 1 spot between Z, Ty, and Mirk. All would get time but who starts and who finishes. I think the staff needs to be more open to match ups and talk to the players about that before the season starts.

Expectations are now extremely high, and that’s a GOOD thing! The path is there for a deep run with the possible tournament sites. Time to make it happen.

Go get a defensive-minded assistant and focus on getting MUCH better on that end. Have to. They do that and we can really start dreaming of a natty.

Scoring will not be a problem.

I think they have enough ball handling if Boswell and Petrovic start together but I doubt they go.

Right now it looks like starting lineup is:

Boswell- 6’2
Stojakovic- 6’7
Mirkovic- 6’9
Ivisic- 7’0
Ivisic- 7’0

I don’t see many guys that can dribble out of that group. Again, 1 guard and 4 bigger guys is something I don’t know how it works from a ball handling perspective. So maybe Petrovic will have to start.

That group is what you need to go with I presume to balance it out. Still not much guard depth at all.

The Borscht is just about done and ready to be served up. Congrats to the staff for all their hard work paying off. Very nice job and big shout out to all the doners who made this happen. Big Dawgs themselves. Now let's go kick some a$$ next year.

Front court seems largely complete now, in my opinion. Two Ivisic's, Mirkovic and Ty with Ben as a spot minutes guy, seems like that should cover the 4/5 minutes.

At the wing, Stojakovic has it locked down with Ty maybe taking up some minutes there with a 3-big lineup.

Guards, there's Bam and Petrovic with Davis taking spot minutes and maybe a freshman or two? Feels like there's a need for a Harmon-type to fill a gap there yet.

No doubt the staff is going to complete this roster with a good player but Dame Sarr would make soo much sense for this team now. Long, athletic wing who can go in transition and defend his tail off.

I'm going back and forth between trying to find a long shot blocking/rebounding 4 for minutes or like you said, a Harmon caliber guard to provide depth in the backcourt. That actually might be the best add given what we went through last year with that particular position.
