Partly agree.... We are in new territory with the advent of internet, social media, etc. Never before in human history could anyone in the world contact someone they have never met and criticize and talk trash to them about how they do their job, their looks, family, etc.. Also, 99% of those hiding behind their computer would never in front of that person say those same things; however, doesn't mean it doesn't negatively affect people receiving those criticisms daily via computer any less.

Lived in stl for awhile… tried one of those provel pizzas at another joint that wasn’t imos. I wasn’t impressed. I did however like the deep dish from black thorn.

I don't think it helped Ben that you had national media saying things like this prior to the season (admittedly no doubt encouraged by practice reports...) and those sound bites being picked up and amplified by local media:
The expectations of Ben were clearly too high in retrospect. Hopefully a reduced role with accordingly reduced expectations will help him play with less pressure and (again, hopefully) excel in that role.
