I'm sure he's a good kid and has some skills, but I don't like the way this recruiting is trending. Too many "projects." Is. there room on our roster for one more stud transfer?

Your point about Cal was known before he went there. So not really a good "excuse ".

I'm a bit concerned he'll find our academics a bit too easy and transfer to some place like Johns Hopkins or Kentucky.
Kentucky???? University of Kentucky is ranked No. #152 in National Universities. It's also ranked No. #81 in Top Public Schools

Only US HS players I’d anticipate them taking in ‘26 at this point are Mingo (long shot) Constanza, or Jervis (long shot)
Do they expect the house settlement to disrupt their ability to recruit the Balkans?

Curious to know if the staff expects stricter NIL guidelines are expected to make it more difficult.

That's an interesting blend of schools
Having grown up in CU and still being a Illini ticket holder and also back in the day attending Miss St in just prior to their Final Four run. State is a football and even more baseball school. Fans don't come out for hoops like they do here. I am very familiar with both basketball programs and unless you really want warmer weather or something then I'd choose the Illini. I recall Shaq talking about his Illinois visit and he knew he wasn't coming to Illinois as soon as he stepped of the plane in the winter at Willard Airport! The cold weather isn't for everyone but otherwise ILL!
