Or possibly jakstys. Just not realistic to believe any and every HS kid you land is going to be a day 1 starter (due to a single occasion).

We get a 4star IN STATE kid and we already have negative people questioning if they are no more than a development piece. This is the relative they put last at the table on Thanksgiving, to say what they are thankful for. Family and friends are eating pie as that person ponders something to be thankful for and heck maybe even happy about. SMFH ...... Happy Thanksgiving to you all. It's great news anytime a Peoria kid dreams/ wants to represent his state school.
I hope his growth plates are open. He looks like a short 6'6" and is destined to play in the front court.

Come for me if I’m wrong but I think Kitt is gonna be a dude … At minimum we’re getting an EDG from Peoria who cares more about the front of the jersey than the back … And the last guy we had like that (DMFW) turned out to be alright …

Nice, I played with future NBA players Kevin Duckworth and Jay Taylor at EIU. Both great dudes. RIP to both of them. Sat next to Duck in Speech 101 and 102. High fived him on the dance floor at Krackers the night he was drafted. lol. Pick up games only.

Quinton Kitt, the No. 118 overall recruit in the 2027 class, has decided to stay home for college and has committed to Illinois.
My son (10) pulled this off in a game last week and it was beautiful.
Because it isn’t, feel like this staff has a great eye for talent and they have proof of that.
