This staff is so damn good at identifying high-level craft and game feel.
Giorgi, Feliz, Curbelo, Podz, Dainja, Rodgers, Hansberry, Domask, KJ, Boswell, Mirk, Wagler, all different types and positions but who find ways to beat you with stuff you don't expect. Players whose games elevate in competitive, scouted 5-on-5 basketball vs workouts and AAU stuff.

Roy was way more solidly built and Keaton has a way better outside shot than Roy did.

if this is anything like past year's (tsunami of nominees), this is no big deal. still, nice recognition
Can say that right now, though Keaton will fill out more. Roy shot over 40% from 3 his final year at Washington.
Are we to the point that being committed to Illinois could be a bump that gets him in?
Yeah, Roy was a 21 yr old senior when he was drafted. Wagler is 18 and given that he already put on 20 lbs (which I suspect is going to be a meme a la Nick Smiths diet by the tournament), seems like he'll be able to catch up somewhat.

This is ironic that I posted this, because tonight against Nebraska, we had Wagler in with 4 bigs multiple times (Hum, Tomi, Z, and Mirk) and then after Wagler took a fall, I think it was that same lineup with Andrej in with the 4 bigs...lol
Didn't see any 3pt highlights. Maybe not a good fit? /s
