I really don't see why either Ivisic would return due to the way they are used in the Illini offensive system. Antigua is reputed to be a big man coach but all they do in this offense is pick and pop for 3 pointers. Would anyone on this site choose Illinois if you were a high ranked 7 footer?

Quentin Coleman, 6'4", 180-pound, Class of 2026 Guard from Principia High School in St. Louis County, MO. After his decommitment from Wake Forest, will he go back to the other 5 schools in his final six? That would be Illinois, SLU, Iowa, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech. His ranking in the Clas of 26 has skyrocketed, so I wouldn't be shocked if the likes of Duke, Michigan, Kansas, and Arizona go after Coleman real hard. Do any of you insiders or posters have any info about this re-opened recruitment?

Is it safe to assume Duke will be in the lead? Just assuming because it's Duke.

Do you all think Stojakovic will be here next season? I'm really not liking this benching demotion and how it may impact his psyche not only for the upcoming tournaments but his thought process of being on this team next year. I think Brad's plan may backfire if Andrej gets into his feelings which is totally possible. But, maybe Peja can set his mind right and help him to understand that BU and staff can get him to the next level as they've done with a number of guys now. I hope he sticks around but have some concerns here. Maybe Jake Davis provides them with more spacing but everyone here knows Andrej is the more impactful player and sometimes, it's not worth upsetting your big time players

Ouch, will we try to match the $$$. It seems we shop shop a bit more in the clearance aisle, and I'm saying that's a good thing.
We do have the "we allow guys to work and earn their way to the NBA".

If memory serves correctly, Andres said part of the reason he decided on our Illini is he wanted to be pushed and coached hard. Obviously, the money played a large impact, but if he aspires to make the NBA he should use the current situation as motivation as opposed to a poor me scenario.

Get coached. Get good. Get yer gold.

That’d be absolutely massive.
He would have to take a pay cut. I'm not impressed with guys who put up numbers on a bad team. Kansas St. gave Hawkins and Haggerty millions and those teams were terrible.
