Player meetings for the power 5 schools are going on this week. You will see the higher profile guys start to enter Sunday/Monday, but specifically Tuesday as we go into next week.
I think a 5 of Cox-Coleman-Dre-Mirk-Tomi with Z, Jake, Ty, and Morillo plus a couple other transfer pieces would set us up for a nice run again next year.
From watching his film, I’m intrigued with his fit.
His ability to shoot off the bounce makes him a plug and play “action guy” in our system. I’d be thrilled if he committed.
But you nailed it…if he isn’t committed in the next few days…
You just named 9 players. “Couple other transfer pieces” would make things pretty superfluous. Brad’s never played more than an 8-man rotation.
If we get / bring back all those guys, that’s our team.

The ideal plan is retention and Coleman (if they can land him) + portal guard. There will be a couple of other adds in there as well: will get into that once the season is over. It will be someone higher level than Cox.

So, those portal additions would need to be none more than end of bench guys, who’ll get in during the final minutes of a blowout.
In that case, I’m fine with reserving those minutes for Brown / Jakstys / Landon Davis / Fabgemi.
