The ideal plan is retention and Coleman (if they can land him) + portal guard. There will be a couple of other adds in there as well: will get into that once the season is over. It will be someone higher level than Cox.

What is your level of optimism on the retention of Stoj, Mirk, Ivisic(x2), and Davis?

He paid a million two years ago for a softball pitcher. If they rally want him TRUST me they’ll get him if money is the most important thing to Coleman.

Should we be expecting another high profile European?

I thought the reason for taking Bilic was to get a player to be named later.

One thing to keep in mind, you might want 10 playable players on the team.

Sure, by the end of the season, there will likely be a core 8-man rotation. But it can be difficult to predict exactly who those 8 will be.

This year, for example, we came into the season with 10 playables. Ty got hurt and Petro turned out to be unplayable.

So you might want a solid 9-10 players headed into the season because there's typically some attrition due to injuries / guys not working out.

Again, the bar is “playable.”

Full disclosure, if we’re in position to land a very good player the very end (à la Will Riley), I’ll NEVER be in opposition towards it. But at that point it’s about getting greedy. Right now, I think it’s pretty obvious that if we retain most of our roster, we’ll be in very good shape.

Im very interested what if any euro guys that i would imagine the staff has in mind that they are keeping under wraps. I would imagine they like to keep these situations as close to the vest as possible to keep others away from Euros we may want.
Last season were talking to the Euro who ended up at UNC. I wonder if he transfers out with Davis getting axed?
