I'd take Sencire back in an instant. How much fun would it be to have him and Z on an energy line? You get 25 minutes of methodical halfcourt break you down basketball while hammering the boards, interspersed with 15 frenetic minutes of Z and Sencire flying down the court together. Sencire with the steals and fast breaks with Z trailing behind to slam home the misses and Z running back down to block on the other end leading to another quick outlet fast break.
I'm sure Sencire wants a larger role with another team, but man, Z and Sencire together would be an awesome viewing experience.

Granted this is a very hypothetical situation, half court offense/shooting percentages with these 2 on the floor would be absolutely atrocious
One thing to remember. Obviously the agent has a lot of say in the direction of the negotiations but also remember the client has a lot of say as well. And the clients we currently have at Illinois love it here. Don't forget that.
Kid works and plays hard, but he was only getting 17 minutes a game at Cincinnati… We ain’t Cincinnati.
How sure are we about Andrej wanting to be back? Honestly, I like the kid a ton, plays his heart out, and was an absolute teammate this past year. I defended him a ton and said he would pay off in March/April. I don't know the numbers but I heard the range he was paid this past year. If someone told you prior to season start, his role would be what it was this year, would you have been on board? And now that we have a sample size of a full year, are we sure he's going to start? On the flip side, is he going to want to come back without getting a guarantee/sacrificing his wants/role another year? I feel like a lot of programs can offer what he wants and I don't think I would blame him for leaving.

Probably wouldn’t come back here but I would take DGL back in a heartbeat. Dude can flat out score and defend.
Still a top 10 highlight of the season for me because it spoke to the character of the guys on this team. Unselfish.

Hey, when you condense 40 minutes of hell into 15 minutes of Sencire and Z, there's bound to be some drawbacks, you know, like halfcourt offense. But man, that defensive combo would be fun. Plus, as an added bonus, any opponent relying on a short bench would be completely gassed by halftime. We'll just tell the fans to close their eyes any time we have possession and the shot clock goes under 20 seconds.

Given the Supreme Court Opinion about the NIL written by Bret Kavanaugh in 2021 - there can't be more than a 5% chance that you are wrong.
One other thing to keep in mind about that SCOTUS decision. It let the collective bargaining capability for athletes slide. If this comes up again, I don't think the Universities or the President of United States would be so fortunate this time around.

Is small donor fundraising is impactful in college sports - like it is in politics - or is it just whale dependent? I give $500 to Icon and can’t tell if that’s useful or if it’s going to bus fare for a discus thrower. I mean - I love the discus and all - but should I even bother?
