Wagler has as much chance playing his Sophomore year here as Will Riley has of playing his Junior year here. Not healthy to even let the mind go there.
I agree but players like JT Toppin and Lendeborg had no business playing college ball this year and yet they did. I assume it is because these players don't think there's a chance they could suffer a career ending injury. But they do happen. Look at what happened to Toppin and Cason from Michigan.

Ok, now let's get real.

Would you go that route? Would you tell your kids to go that route?

Which GUARANTEED lottery pick went back to have more fun and not be an adult?

IF he hurts himself, it's all over. He saw Ty on the bench every game, as a reminder. We all saw Toppin go down, as a reminder.

Hey, if being a multi millionaire and literally not having ANY financial concerns isn't fun....I don't know what to say. A person, with a family, can and will EASILY blow through $5M. They will not blow through $100M dollars.
Tim Duncan played all 4 years at WF with no NIL and was the #1 pick. Im not saying I think he should come back. Im just saying that some people don't value the same things as everyone else. Maybe he likes college.

Lol … It’s crazy how many people read this board and just post it as their own …

Sometimes I just want to post something crazy inaccurate just to see how many people bite …
Im sure most are kids playing video games and never played with guys or even knew them. I am not on your level. Not even close. I am a former towny. I used know n heard things then because pops used to run with the former AD but now i dont much. My wife sold Nick Anderson his first wifes engagement ring at JC Penny with Ervin there. When i was at MissSt Kendall Gill who i hardly knew did leave me tickets when he played Ole Miss in Oxford n Gerald Glass and we drove up. I played with all the 89 team, D Harper and Mitchell Wiggins (Andrews Dad) are the best at played with at that point of thier lives at Huff. Not many in likely even know Andrews dad Mitchell. He was a cool !!! dude and at Huff and i got to know him. I still recall talkingto him about tbe DII guy the Bulls picked 5th when were about to run. He said he must be a bad !!!! It was Scottie Pippen young fellas. Thank you for all your input. I cant see through most the BS. Thx Indy!

One reason i ask about Josh Hubbard should he hit the portal.

Lifes short ..enjoy the ride! ILL@

One other thing Keaton might be factoring in is the number of games played in college vs nba. Yes, I get all the money arguments....but hear me out.

In college, Keaton could play half as many games in a shorter season and for someone as young as him the extra year of physical development without the constant wear and tear of an nba season might actually be beneficial to him. He gets a year to beef up, improve his shooting, makes a huge bag anyway, and gets to be BMOC on a national level.

I mean heck, if the Boozer brothers can get paid by State Farm, why couldn't Keaton cash in on a big endorsement deal while still playing in college?

I still think he goes pro, but there are at least some legit angles for leaving the door open a crack. JMO.
At an interview I think after the last regular season game, they asked Keaton what the hardest thing to adjust to for him, and he said getting beat on so hard for so many games, vs HS. And imo the look on his face was honest and exhausted. So, yeah, NBA will double the games yet again, and double the physicality. I think that is a factor for him. Prolly still goes pro, but who knows. Being part of the first Natty for the Illini? Some things are worth more than money.
