!!!!! If they get Juke Harris and Bidunga to go along with Estrella and the 5* freshmen, they'll be favorites to win it all again. That's not even counting McKenney and Cadeau. *sigh*
I don't know about that - they will be good again - but Mara and Yaxel are what made that team special last year - two guys really hard to guard who were execellent defenders. Estrella doesn't put fear in anyone and Bidunga is a better version of Morez, a 6'9" shot blocker rebounder, They will have a really good backcourt with Cadeau, McKenney, McCoy and Juke Harris in that scenario, but that's a lot of guards who want the ball.

If it happens, unfortunate, but may be for the best on both sides.
Maybe in his mind, he really doesn't see him getting much playing time? Maybe it'd be a reality knowing BU and staff are reaching for the stars.

If true, too bad. I really think he can contribute especially on the defensive side, offensive rebounds and getting put-back baskets.

JP Estrella is a steep steep steep downgrade from any of Michigan's big 3 bigs from last season. At best, he'll be their 2nd big (and most ideally 3rd IMO). He's a solid contingency guy while we see how things play out with their priority bigs/targets. I expect all 3 current Michigan bigs to go pro. I think all 3 will wind up being Top 20-25 picks.

McKenney is the dude with Michigan that I think takes a enormous Year 2 leap if he returns. Dude is a killer and fully expect him to be in the running for B1G POY if he's back. Credit to him for taking on his freshman role in stride 👍

Someone comes to you with a boatload of $ to do a 30 second ad and you turn it down because “that’s not my style”?
Yes! Bulls just cut a former first round pick for standing up.and saying im.not endorsing this mindset or product. Now i have no issue with verizon but i think the Mannings, Barkley and others turn down ads too.

Maybe he likes playing college basketball and wants to enjoy not being to much of an adult lol. Plenty of dudes played more than 1 year of college ball that could have been a high draft pick.
He could be top.3 next year n for a lot of the same reasons Noah did. Difference is Yannick Noah is loaded.

Ty needs to focus on being healthy and getting back to playing…

Wherever is best for him, great. Honestly, I could see him being a guy who might go to a lower level to prove his health and work his way back in, and maybe we’d see him back here for his senior year
I doubt he goes anywhere other than another high major program, but he needs to be in a system where he fits.
He’s from Michigan, and it isn’t hard to imagine him being really good in Tom Izzo’s system in the Draymond/Xavier Tillman, high post roller/facilitator role.
I just threw up in my mouth a bit…
