As good of a Ben replacement as we could ask for.
Duke is going to drop a BAG on Sherrell …
Which totally means no money for Blackwell…right?Duke is going to drop a BAG on Sherrell …
Should help with Blackwell…Duke is going to drop a BAG on Sherrell …
Just for perspective, here is a link to the rookie scale for this year's draft; the $5 million rumored asking price for some portal entrants is more than DOUBLE the salary for late first-round picks: https://basketball.realgm.com/nba/info/rookie_scaleIf teams are willing to pay 1st round NBA draft money for stars then college basketball has truly gone off the rails..
Does that effect their situation with Blackwell or???Duke is going to drop a BAG on Sherrell …
Does that help us with blackwellDuke is going to drop a BAG on Sherrell …
I feel like a statement in the same vein could have been made about Mara about this time last year...JP Estrella is a steep steep steep downgrade from any of Michigan's big 3 bigs from last season. At best, he'll be their 2nd big (and most ideally 3rd IMO). He's a solid contingency guy while we see how things play out with their priority bigs/targets. I expect all 3 current Michigan bigs to go pro. I think all 3 will wind up being Top 20-25 picks.
McKenney is the dude with Michigan that I think takes a enormous Year 2 leap if he returns. Dude is a killer and fully expect him to be in the running for B1G POY if he's back. Credit to him for taking on his freshman role in stride![]()
Don't understand why they kept him around last year? Seems like a throwaway of money if they didn't want to keep him around. Two years and not one second played.Have not gotten a for sure answer, but trending towards Ty being gone.
I doubt he goes anywhere other than another high major program, but he needs to be in a system where he fits.
He’s from Michigan, and it isn’t hard to imagine him being really good in Tom Izzo’s system in the Draymond/Xavier Tillman, high post roller/facilitator role.
I just threw up in my mouth a bit…
Do you have a source?Have not gotten a for sure answer, but trending towards Ty being gone.
Yeah at this point it’s agents and players preying on college pride fanatical donors. Think SEC football programs.Just for perspective, here is a link to the rookie scale for this year's draft; the $5 million rumored asking price for some portal entrants is more than DOUBLE the salary for late first-round picks: https://basketball.realgm.com/nba/info/rookie_scale
(which, IMO, means that demands at that amount are pie-in-the-sky)
Yes, in his dreams.just saw DGL predicted by some yahoo to transfer back to Illinois. sigh. just wading through chaff.
I didnt want that but there really isnt a role for a 6'6" guy that never made a 15ft jimper as a recall.Have not gotten a for sure answer, but trending towards Ty being gone.
I mean, this is kinda what I expected. We can’t guarantee a rotational spot to a guy coming off major surgery that had a limited offensive game prior to that. It’s sad, but best for both parties.Have not gotten a for sure answer, but trending towards Ty being gone.
Been out of the loop since our game Saturday , hardly posting or even reading posts........read the first and second pages of this thread and got a headache big time in Paducah now so skipping 36 pages to arrive here......any REAL news to report ???
thanks , in advance.................
Manute Bol shot 21% from three point range during his NBA career. I mean, if you’re better than Manute…Andrej Stojakovic shot 24.4% from the three-point line this year. I’ll just leave this here, ya know, for fun.
For some perspective, that’s worse than Kylan Boswell.
That makes me sadHave not gotten a for sure answer, but trending towards Ty being gone.
They’ll kick the tires …
