Questioning most decisions I made in my life and doing drywall... Between constantly checking Loyalty!!! ILL
Doing drywall makes me question my decisions in life…Bid it like you don’t want to do it!

don’t look now but IU and Mizzou quietly assembling very strong prep+transfer classes….. 🙈. IU looks to have pivoted from Aiden Sherell and landed a Turkish 7-2 Center (SMU transfer). Or dare I say they might land them both?! 🫣🫣🫣
We beat Mizzou by 43 points this past season, and we're getting better. Not sure how we could possibly be worried.

Kentucky is becoming little brother …

The word coming from the recent visitors in Lexington has been ATROCIOUS … Very rarely do you hear a visit goes bad … Let alone hear it twice in a day …
Gotta give you credit Indy. Didn't you say something about Pope being a little weird/off-putting when he got hired?
Speak it into existence … Lol …

Not exactly a huge state secret that Mark Pope is a bit of a goober.

Combine his strong X's and O's reputation with his lack of a handle on working with stars and it definitely calls to mind the earlier Bruce Weber conversation.

But he also really reminds me of Mark Richt at Miami Football, another guy who despite being an alum who was part of a beloved national title team was just totally spiritually wrong for the program.

The Kentucky coach needs to be a shyster running to stay one step ahead of the law, that's basketball heritage.

Here in Madison there are some who talk about his underlying confidence issues, and how it took a lot of coaching and teammate support to keep him aggresively shooting. Put a spotlight on him (and his potentially huge NIL commitment) and one could possibly see him getting into a confidence funk when the boo birds (or coaches' harsh criticism) come out after a bad game.
Could have entirely opposite impact though too, fostering greater confidence whenever handling off nights, adversities or whatever and elevating further

Indy seems to know every basketball coach and their families. It’s crazy.

This is the insanity im talking about. Ty isnt going to suddenly be a shooter nor is he a capable defender vs big guys. If you think he can stop guys like Payne or others when he never has is crazy. Brad put in Coleman and others before Ty for a reason! Been there and tried that. Now he is going to suddenly become a freak defender like Rodman! Its just laughable how much Kool Aid some drink when it comes to Ty.
Ty led the elite 8 team in offensive rebounds. He was tough as nails in the boards. He had 3 double doubles when we made that run. If he is healthy Brad will find some minutes for him

I'll be honest, I don't get the talk of preseason #1, even with Blackwell.

Let's assume #TheRetention happens, and we essentially "trade" Wagler for Blackwell. That to me isn't a step up - lateral at best.

Of course, if we assume Andrej and Mirk make a big step forward, then I suppose it can get you there, but that's a big assumption.
You mean like we all assumed Tomi would take a big step forward in year two and we got this season Tomi?
