Our coaches believe they can teach defense and rebounding... Shooting comes more slowly, and this guy can already do it.

Let’s not talk about depth again. Last two years we’ve said that before the season and then played six or seven men when we had injuries.
If Z or Tomi goes down we are in trouble.

Still pretty early in the transfer cycle and I have no inside knowledge but I think if they retain Morez and the rest of the guys with eligibility outside of Mara and adding Estrella, that probably equates to a good chunk of change as it is.

But they have seemingly missed on a target or two so far.

Missed one commitment and another just went official, bringing the ball to 82% and 9 for 11.

There's a mile of difference between being the 9th guy on what this IL roster is shaping up to be and most other teams.

Jake was a starter the end of the year and averaged 19 mpg on a final 4 team. He would easily start on a lower half of the B10 team. Morillo would be a top contributor if not starter as well.

Vaaks helps there to a degree. But I think people are underestimating how different an offense that replaces Wagler and Boswell with Vaaks/Coleman/Blackwell would be. We're going to have to play faster, ball movement in the half court just isn't going to be the same.

Could see us playing faster with Dre, Coleman, Blackwell, Ty, and Z. Very athletic but just don’t see that lineup as more than an experiment. Be interesting to see what Tyler comes up with but betting it’s going to look different.
