Are we involved with this guy?

Shot 43% from 3 on 246 attempts. Just for reference, Keaton this past year shot 40% on 219 attempts.

In the event we miss on Blackwell (which everyone’s been dreading), I think that’d be a phenomenal get.
People much smarter than me, which is pretty much this entire board, have indicated that if Blackwell goes elsewhere McNeil may be an option.

I've got him in orange on the Sheet for a reason.

We need more of this. More prep recruiting and more guys getting their worth and heading back(if the offers are comparable). Let these guys get their money, keep the rosters somewhat in tact and let's see the high school kids be a bigger factor.

To me, the one way to do it is every athlete is mandated to stay two years after they sign, then they can transfer once with no penalty, but they have to sit out a year if they want to transfer another time(old school again).

Let's get personal and team development back into the equation.

Sounds like desperation to me.
Sounds like this has been scheduled.

UCLA side reported a few days ago that Blackwell would meet with Duke in LA on Friday, Illinois Monday, UCLA Tuesday, and Louisville Wednesday. Blackwell’s agent is also in LA.

Guys just read the tea-leaves on Blackwell…everyone else is either getting commitments from similar guys or pivoting to similar positions…yet beyond “kicking the tires” you haven’t heard us connected to anyone

I’m sure it’s all fluid but don’t think with the warchest available we’d be standing pat this close to a historic looking roster

Doesn't change your overall point, but I will pick the nit and point out that Wright was at Baylor for a year before transferring to BYU.

I hope if they all have something cooked up for this evening they do it after the coaches vs. cancer event.

Don’t want to take any of the shine off of that program. Just my opinion.
