NGL I did think there was a chance of him coming back. Seemed like the group had a lot of fun together and given that he came into the year with no expectations of being drafted, let alone a lottery pick, he probably mentally hadn't even had to process it until the year was over.

Tomi and Z in a locker room breaking something...just then the phone rings. Drej on the other end on video, sitn on a beach with a cool tropical drink, asking the twins "so are we doing this ?" Just then the infamous F*CK YEAH chick comes into the locker room. FU** YEAH!!!! Drej states, if it's ok with guys, I'm gonna bring my boy with me...........screen scrolls to show Blackwell chilled on the beach with drink in hand !
I saw this on Twitter. Someone must’ve screenshot it. Funniest thing I think I’ve read all week

Big Z scored on over 90% of the lobs thrown his way. All I know is that there needs to be several possessions a game where he starts at the 3pt line and sprints to the rim to straight up dunk on people or have them foul trying to stop it. Kid is a freak. Just need Fletch to get some muscle on him and then unleash him
Now I can’t stop imagining the four out back door lob play that Weber stole from Self for Luther, but for Z

I would be surprised if anyone else announces today. Even if others are sealed to return, I think the program likes to spread out news so players have their day.
I actually like that. Let each player have their day and show their personality.

I'm thinking Wagler is having bittersweet thoughts about the end of his playing career at Illinois. He was faced with being a millionaire before 20 either way, and he'd been thru the ups and downs with his guys. Seeing the excitement of everybody coming back with a chance at a NC, I'm sure a part of him wishes he was a part of the next team.
