I have heard to expect a little more transition with the roster … I won’t name names but with that guard rotation … Minutes are going to be tough to come by …

I have also been told expect Brad and staff to stealth hunt for some front court depth … They think a little more depth there wouldn’t hurt … And McNeil’s camp says Illinois very much still an option for him … He’s taking the recruiting process slower than most and evaluating his options … He’s reportedly not in too big of a rush … But if the right offer comes then he would pursue it …

Thank you Josh and Brad for giving your time, commitment and sacrifices for this great University. Thanks for believing in us! I also want to thank Dan for giving us fans a great place to cheer on and follow our team. I want to thank all our insiders as well as each and every single fan who post here. Regardless of differences, we are all here, because we love the University of Illinois. Holds up a drink...a toast to each and every one of you! I have never felt better about the state of our program. CHEERS!

I may be wrong, but I think Zen will be quite a surprise in a couple of years and be a "piece" of the puzzle to keep Illinois at Elite status. I will trust BU on this one.

Is this involving the new recruits coming in or potential people transferring out? I honestly think Coleman can play starter type minutes, maybe I am wrong.

I had to do a double take for a minute, as I for some reason I recalled Andrej entered the portal much later last year. Then I remembered that our season ended two full weeks earlier than this year!

The portal feels much different when the season ends with the Final Four.

First post, but been reading for years. I don’t believe anyone has mentioned this…getting Zavier Zens is smart as it would get Illinois an easy look from all four of Kon Knueppel’s younger brothers- Zen’s first cousins - should they also be D1 caliber players.

if he's serious about winning a championship, i think it comes down to which one he believes will get there. louisville may be stacking talent but our multi-year guys returning sets a better plan.
