The minute it officially passes, I’m setting the line at 5.5 minutes until some senior sues the ncaa for another year.
That's a good thing, but you know it'll go to court.
I wholeheartedly agree with this and have been typing this POV during the season. The number 1 thing I want to see next year is significantly more post-ups for Tomislav. It isn’t always pretty or fluid looking, but he gets the ball in the basket. What did he shoot, like a ridiculous 72% from 2? And it’s not like he’s inflating that percentage with a slew of dunks.
You can still do the pick and pop stuff, but I want him around the bucket much more frequently.
AS needs to keep his driving game as I am sure he will. He also showed some flashes of hitting those mid-range jumpers while driving.Question for insiders, we all know that Andrej is going to get feedback on his jump shot and that it needs to improve. Does that mean he is going to come back and just jack 3's next year? That would be the worst-case scenario, in my opinion.
And make some serious NIL cash at the same time win winI agree. Andrej will take what the scouts will tell him and improve. If his outside shot improves, it will make us better. With Vaaks, Coleman, Dre, Jake and Tomi, we will stretch defenses out which will create driving lanes.
Cole Kelly looks like he would be the perfect fit for the Illini at Small Forward. The position that Andrej Stojakovic will be playing this season. Sounds like Duke will be competing in this recruiting battle.I really hope they lock up Kelly. Seems like a perfect fit!
If NBA coaching at the combine can improve his 3 pt. % to over 40%, he has the green light from me. Not likely that can be done so quickly but that does not mean it can't happen. I really don't think he will become a 3pt. specialist, but if he improves to 37%+ and takes the same number of shots while continuing to score so effectively at the rim, he will be all B1G and likely a first round pick. Not huge leap IMHO.
Timme of Gonzaga energy. And knows how to rock a 'stache. Can always use style points.
Strange to think about him being higher ranked than Morez for their first 3 years in HS.James Brown from UNC to,Howard… damn he went south quickly
I just read on a site today that Class of 2028 Brady Pettigrew is a 6'4", 185-pound Combo Guard. If true, maybe he's outgrown Brad Underwood's alleged bias (per many posters) against recruiting/playing short Guards. The kid is an athletic stud recruit. I'd love to see him play for the Illini. And Brady Pettigrew!

Yeah, in this offense he will have plenty of opportunities to knock down 3's without forcing them. His real value is getting to the rack and getting to the foul line. I don't think any scout is going to get excited about him being less aggressive. When he finds himself alone in the corner, he just has to make the other team pay for it a bit more often. The nice thing about playing an NBA style is that you don't get into a Juice Williams situation where a player becomes determined to play in a way that doesn't suit his talents and isn't what brings his college team success in vain hope of a pro career.
What the NBA wants to see from Andrej is all the things that will make our KenPom go up. The worst thing he could do for his stock is start taking inefficient shots.
Illinois should increase their recruiting efforts with Pettigrew. Get him on a visit to Champaign.Sounded like they were bigger on Brady Pettigrew who’s already visited.
Exactly what it means! Just like Ayo and Kofi did!Question for insiders, we all know that Andrej is going to get feedback on his jump shot and that it needs to improve. Does that mean he is going to come back and just jack 3's next year? That would be the worst-case scenario, in my opinion.
He said he’s visited Duke once. And wants to go back soon. Decision seems likely during his junior year similar timeline to Quinton Kitt and Mason Martin.Illinois should increase their recruiting efforts with Pettigrew. Get him on a visit to Champaign.
Oh my god he’s already been on campus and he loves BradIllinois should increase their recruiting efforts with Pettigrew. Get him on a visit to Champaign.
I'm sure Baylor had no way of knowing that might happen when they signed Kayden.Shockingly Dylan Mingo joins his brother at Baylor..

Not so fast my friend. Several guards have been selected with under 27% from 3. Jalen Johnson being the latestNo NBA team is gonna draft a guard that shoots under 27% from 3
Yep Ayo, Kofi, Coleman and TSJ all did this. I believe Coleman did it twice with one returning to IL and the 2nd time transferring to K-State after pulling out of the draft.Exactly what it means! Just like Ayo and Kofi did!
They’re competing for him and Pettigrew (more an SG) given Jon Scheyer’s IL ties and the Duke brand of course.Cole Kelly looks like he would be the perfect fit for the Illini at Small Forward. If we're going to go there, I suggest we do a test run to convince Wagler to stay an additional year.normally, I don't advocate kidnapping. but in this case, I'd strongly consider it
