Has Petro signed anywhere?
I was just wondering the same thing, so I just did a search via AI. It had this to say (also, a good summation of his career at Illinois):

Mihailo Petrovic has entered the transfer portal after a challenging season with the Illinois Fighting Illini, where he struggled to secure consistent playing time. He has two years of eligibility remaining and is considered an intriguing prospect for other programs.

Mihailo Petrovic's Transfer Status

Mihailo Petrovic has officially entered the transfer portal after a challenging season with the Illinois Fighting Illini. This decision comes after he struggled to find consistent playing time during his tenure at Illinois.

Performance at Illinois

  • Season Overview: Petrovic faced difficulties in securing a regular role on the team, which limited his contributions.
  • Playing Time: He averaged only 1.6 points and 1.1 assists over 19 games, with limited minutes due to competition from teammates, particularly freshman Keaton Wagler.
  • Injury Impact: Early-season injuries affected his ability to establish himself, leading to a significant drop in playing time as the season progressed.

Future Prospects

  • Eligibility: Petrovic has two years of eligibility remaining, making him an attractive option for other college programs.
  • Potential Suitors: His previous performance in international leagues, where he averaged impressive stats, suggests he could be a valuable addition to a new team.
Petrovic's combination of experience and skill makes him a noteworthy prospect in the transfer portal, and he is expected to attract interest from various programs looking to enhance their rosters.

Has Petro signed anywhere?
I found one article about MP. Written May 2nd on SI.com by presumably someone who writes for Gonzaga. Here is a link in case anyone wants to read it.

Why Gonzaga should target Serbian guard Mihailo Petrovic out of transfer portal

There was one thing in the article that I thought was kind of interesting.

"By all accounts, Petrovic was a great teammate while at Illinois, and his veteran experience, facilitation skills, and the potential for a breakout - now that he has a year of college under his belt - make this an intriguing option for Gonzaga to pursue out of the portal."

Meh, in college athletics, I take what the coaches say and what the players say with a grain of salt. It's always a move on to the next best thing situation.

Michigan is the perfect example. Morez was set on coming back until May stepped in and May was set on going back until Dallas stepped in.

It's just the nature of the beast. There's no loyalty from anybody but the fans. If someone were to leave, as we've seen, BU has absolutely no problem changing direction.

When signing date comes and goes.... we'll know. Until then, never stop scouting and never stop recruiting. Brad pivots better than any coach in the country.

anything on the current Michigan team on our menu? would love to poach something. I assume their starting lineup will be hard to get anyone but they have a huge class.

I wonder if Estrella and chaim leave to someone else... bigs are in demand this off season. if anyone leaves from their top 5 they will drop in the rankings. their depth was already in question

It's be great to return the favor for them poaching Morez . . .
