Joking aside, I’ve always found it incredibly easy to cheer for guys on my team I didn’t like in college necessarily.

Pettigrew can talk to KJ, Will, and Keaton about how they were first round draft picks after freshman year at Illinois and what its like to play for Brad

Or he can to 23 year old Yaxel who can tell him about playing freshman year at Az Central JC, sophomore and junior year at UAB making the NIT 1 year and losing first round in NCAA, then he can talk about what it was like to play for Dusty May at Michigan who is no longer there.

My growth plates stayed open for a long time after adulthood. Lots of guys my age who were taller than me are now shorter than me. It's really a weird feeling actually.

Yea, I think the last line is really the only relevant one for Yaxel. In some ways it's a great story. But it's meaningless without the coach.
