I haven't gotten a chance to watch the video yesterday but the biggest issue is how Boswell is guarding Dent imo.

He should be up on Dent on the inside part of the court denying the entry pass and forcing them to inbound the ball towards the short side of the court and make Dent catch the ball coming back towards the inbounder or towards the near sideline where you have Ben positioned to help.

You can make an argument that they should have a guy on the inbounder as well but the one thing you can't do is let them inbound the ball to the middle of the floor while at speed.
He guarded Dent the same way that I did. Not at all.

Then we had 4 guys guarding spots on the floor where nobody was trying to play offense.

Finally he was one on one at the basket.

Good plan coaches, guard the sides of the court so that his only unobstructed route takes him directly to the basket.

Probably my biggest meltdown last season. Either then or possibly some other time.

Just looked and saw no news about where Sincere Harris is going to be for his senior year, and he is still listed as in the portal. Don't think he could be a regular rotation player here but, if you need a defensive cooler to shut down someone like Fears and disrupt an opponent's play when they go on a run, Harris would be the guy. We have plenty of offensive power, so wouldn't need him to score. And if steel sharpens steel, he would be good for our ballhandling practice. I know this is beyond unlikely, but miss watching him play defense. Hope he lands somewhere soon.

Yeah, no idea why he hasn’t landed somewhere.

How about DePaul or one of the "directional" Illinois colleges?

I love Sincere, but bringing him in to our team just doesn't make sense. 1. There just isn't room for him given how many other contenders for PT we have at his position, and 2. If we were to bring him in to be a "defensive cooler" it wouldn't make up for how much it would cool down our offense playing 5 v 4 on the other end of the court.

Morillo can play 1-4. Williams 2-3. And Ethan Brown. There's likely enough depth there. I think Williams could come close to what Sencire gives defensively (and he probalby doesn't hurt you as much offensively).
Andrej and Jake can also easily be in the lineup together with Vaaks or Coleman

Underwood: “I like to use the term position-less basketball.”
Hmmm, I…think Coach had a term he likes to use in this debate of who can play what position and back up who when needed in various lineup schemes 🤔

Sencire Harris will always have a special place in my orange heart, if only for this moment… but on this team he’d be battling Fagbemi for #13thman

Not sure where this mentality comes from that the only people that can play the point are Vaaks and Coleman, you have Mirk, Brown (who I think will play that position a lot), Morillo. Plenty of people to back it up. Don't sleep on Ethan Brown, high IQ kid.
