Underwood: “I like to use the term position-less basketball.”
Hmmm, I…think Coach had a term he likes to use in this debate of who can play what position and back up who when needed in various lineup schemes 🤔

Sencire Harris will always have a special place in my orange heart, if only for this moment… but on this team he’d be battling Fagbemi for #13thman

Not sure where this mentality comes from that the only people that can play the point are Vaaks and Coleman, you have Mirk, Brown (who I think will play that position a lot), Morillo. Plenty of people to back it up. Don't sleep on Ethan Brown, high IQ kid.

What he did to Tyger Campbell in Vegas was legendary. We don't make that comeback without him.
Not going to happen but I'd take him back. This team could use a player like Buck.
And Boo Buie in that 19pt comeback.

I’ll also always remember that Purdue second half (even though we didn’t win).

Vaaks , Davis, Andrej, Mirk, Ivisic lineups work just fine. Please let’s not do this “but they’re not labeled a guard!” thing.

Related, I find it amusing Jake can’t be considered a guard because “he can’t dribble that well” but Sencire Harris can be a SHOOTING GUARD shooting 18% and 11% from 3 the last 2 years
Those are just staggering numbers lol

We might have a better version with QC and his motor.

Just looked and saw no news about where Sincere Harris is going to be for his senior year, and he is still listed as in the portal. Don't think he could be a regular rotation player here but, if you need a defensive cooler to shut down someone like Fears and disrupt an opponent's play when they go on a run, Harris would be the guy. We have plenty of offensive power, so wouldn't need him to score. And if steel sharpens steel, he would be good for our ballhandling practice. I know this is beyond unlikely, but miss watching him play defense. Hope he lands somewhere soon.
NBA caliber athlete and point of attack defender with absolutely no offensive game.

Honestly thought he would develop more then he has in 4 years of college. I feel like he could have been an incredibly good college player without ever developing a jumpshot if he developed as a ball handler to attack the basket in the halfcourt and then be able to finish in transition with his speed.

Maybe didn't help that he transferred schools every year, right?

We could save him for the last play of the game when we have a 3 point or less lead. Just put him on the floor and don't try to draw up a plan for him.

Too many people here aren't seeing DEPTH as a part of roster evaluation. Adding someone like Sencire would stabilize our depth, without taking away reps from Vaaks, Coleman, other starters.

Right now it's a question mark between 3 very low ranked freshman. Sencire is a much more proven piece.

If we trotted out a guy shooting 11% from 3, our entire offense would break down. Opponents would double the ball or they’d sit a guy in the paint and driving lanes would dry up. Would much rather play one of the freshman in this particular system.

And I like SH, his defense was electric. He just doesn’t fit in this team.
