Tennessee in Nashville
Would have preferred at least a semi neutral feel to these games.

Kinda hoppin for a Florida Bowl....BUT..I'll take the Music City. It's just a small trip for us...here in Nashville.

Rose Bowl for those schools / and Sugar Bowl for LSU are exceptions. of course , our recent experience with all those bowls was against a home team .
put I think you get my point - for the vast majority of these tier 2 & tier 3 bowls , the schools want to go somewhere & the host cities want to sell hotel rooms & meals at restaurants

Although not a “prestige” bowl game, there’s no doubt it feels great going to a decent bowl game in a somewhat desirable location. We are a long way from playing La Tech in the Heart of Dallas Bowl.

Debating on going. Do we think ticket prices will go down or be cheaper once released to the schools? It looks like it never draws near capacity except for when Tennessee is there.

With there being a good chance UT or Vandy gets the bid, I would think strike now while the iron is hot.
I remember the Sugar Bowl in 2002 vs. LSU - there were a bunch of older alums there scrounging for tickets in New Orleans. They asked me how we got ours, and I shrugged and said Ticketmaster (the day we got the bid - 2nd row in the end zone).

My choice of opponents in order:
LSU - They are good but not really good. Just like us. Coach turnover might hurt them with multiple player sitting out.
Tennessee - They would have an advantage but we would be competitive in this one if we bring a B+ game or better.
Vanderbilt - They are better than us and would be playing at home. Not a good matchup.
Miznoz - They are also better than us. Very competitive in losses to TAM/Vandy/Bama. Only way we win this is if a number of their best players sit. And we would have to hear about it forever. I'd rather wait for us to stack some good recruiting/portal classes together before we play them.

Never gone to a bowl before but might consider it. Not a season ticket holder but does the school allotment typically go to a level where non season ticket holders can purchase?
if you wang to buy tix, you will be able to regardless of your level of fandom
now , sitting at the 50 yd line , 25 rows up ? tough to get there is a pecking order , but the game won’t be sold out .
should be a great crowd tho

You all need to stop buying into the SEC propaganda. Mizzou did not beat a single team with a winning record this season. Seriously, what is their best win?
And honestly, same story for Tennessee. Last year people said this same stuff about how we couldn't beat SC. I get that SEC is good at propaganda, but always surprising how much it takes root on this board.
They played Bama to the end. Were in it to the end at Vandy. Competitve in a loss at OK. We lost decisively against every good team we played and one that wasn't so good. I don't like the matchup.
We beat a good USC team, and dominated the MAC champion and the team currently leading in the ACC championship game.
Mizzou beat a series of bad teams, and some of those games were also competitive. If you're going to give them credit for only losing to OK by 11, then what does it mean that they needed OT to beat 5-7 Auburn, or that they only beat 4-8 South Carolina by 9?
