I very much agree. He didn’t have to come back to Champaign for an exhibition game. Clearly both sides want to have a cordial relationship between the programs and I think we should respect that. Now, I’d love nothing more than to see us kick the you know what out of them, but it really shouldn’t turn into Boo Bill Self Day.

My best friend's first reaction was that we need to go and wear shirts that say Go (expletive deleted) your "self". Some wounds run deep.I predict after some initial booing that Self will receive a standing ovation for being willing to come back to Assembly Hall and get hammered!!

My first reaction as well, haha. Honestly based on what he tried doing to our program (stealing away Dee and Deron) while leaving I personally can't cheer for him and I personally think he's deserving of some boos. That said, he certainly didn't have to come back to Champaign and this will be for a good cause, and it's exhibition. So, I'd like a good strong boo followed by a cheer along with a cheer for Kansas' players aside for Hunter who I'd love to see the crowd troll by having no response whatsoever and going dead silent.
This 100% needs to happen. If I'm BTN I set up a target donation goal that if it's met, he's the commentator. I'd pay good money that
