Nebraska must now account for the five-headed Illini rushing hydra of Laughery, Anderson, Barnett, Houser and Boyd.
This is no longer a backfield. It is a public safety concern
If only Riola could play for Nebraska.

Let's hope for a tough, emotional, breakthrough into the top 25 win for Nebraska tonight
Big game in my view. 1 quarter a time...
But, you win this one, and you look at your remaining 3 - you can talk yourself into winning 2 of the final 3 and putting together a quite decent year all things considered.
But obviously, lets get this one first

Arguably our best chance in the remaining games.

This is going to be a big attendance test for us, among other things.
Get the win and set up for 3 huge game for potential CFP ramifications. 6-3 with three ranked games ahead is a very favorable mix for a CFP berth.
They are starting to play like it on defense. Offense can still go up another level or two especially if Platt returns/is buzzing like he was all off-season. Feagin, Laughery and others continuing to get better. Dixon an All American. Biggest X factor might be Barnett. He continues to run like this with all those other things, and you should be looking at a CFP bound Illini.

Watch us wear the Block I instead of Navy Script.

It might be the music city helmets but I'm looking for the arched Illini as well.

Wear arch! It's like big games in the 80's. They will go music city bowl script tho
Temps probably in the low 50s to high 40s during the game. We will be there!!
Hopefully the students show up, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
Just curious if anyone thinks there will be a gimmick like MD pulled to get them there and keep them there for either this game or the IA game? (Just don't announce any finalists or the winner before the game is over!)
