I think that's just how CBS rolls. I can't change my own bracket names. And there are no settings in the pool to change bracket names that I can find.

Plug for Fibonacci scoring (1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13) if CBS lets you edit the scoring. IMO it always leads to more folks being in the running down the stretch based on early game picks. Also, I'm pretty sure I thought it up and shared it on Loyalty first (although even if that's true, I'm sure others had thought of it before).

Right side of bracket is B10 heavy of those that could make a push. Left side has hardly any B10 teams that could win more than a game

Fibonacci scoring has been used in some of the pools since at least the 80's. I'm not old enough to remember before that, or able to speak for Loyalty brackets. I too prefer Fibonacci scoring to the 1/2/4/8/16/32 system.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm glad I used a throwaway email address.

To not show your email address to others in the Loyalty pool:
* Go to the bracket you filled out
* From menu My Pools, select Illinois Loyalty
* Click on the blue gear to the far right of the Illinois Loyalty Bracket
(This is below the blue "Enter Your bracket" button and above the blue "Create Bracket" button)
* Select Personal Info
* Check the boxes (checking the boxes opts out)
* Save
If you are in other pools, you will need to repeat this for each pool.

To not get a bunch of fantasy emails from cbssports
* Click on your login in the upper right (similar to where it is on this message board)
* Select Account Settings
* Select Edit Settings in the Fantasy area
* Choose "none" for each sport
