There is, that you played like little boys.
If a reminder of how bad you got embarrassed doesn't motivate you then we don't have the right dudes to begin with.
Just a complete failure on all levels.
There is no way they are 53 points better than us, and we kept starters in again and now have even more injuries. This is way beyond the worst case scenario for this game.
Aaron Henry is THE GUY. I'm tired of seeing everybody trying to question that
We lost 63-0 and that felt like rock bottom.
This is, statistically, not much better.
Hopefully not an overreaction, but have felt staff changes need to happen for a couple of seasons now. Losses this bad should not be happening with as far as this program has come. The lines should not look this bad.
I feel like BB may have allowed himself to become too distracted this week with all the appearances/interviews? Doesn't seem like he has that luxury with the staff as it is assembled currently. We were flat out not prepared for this game, injuries or no injuries. Total domination should not happen to an experienced team like ours. That was below FCS level effort and execution, especially on both lines of scrimmage. Very disappointing to say the least.

I believe Illinois has had back to back winning seasons only twice in the last 50 years. Yes, that is very very pathetic. I thought this year was going to be #3. I now have serious concerns.
The worst part for me is it looked like we totally caved when things didn’t go our way- inexcusable
2nd worst loss, worst was #2 Texas beating #9 Colorado in the 2005 Big 12 Championship 70-3 (67 pt margin).

Not going to overreact even though that was a beat down that I didn’t think would be that thorough. I figured 1-3 these four with an outside chance of 2-2. You can’t lose to Purdue.
The trenches getting dominated all year is by far the biggest shock this year. Gonna be tough to win anything in B10 if they can’t get that improved.

This. 100% this. I got SO tired of the "All is fine" people this week. There is something wrong with this team this year, and it doesn't make sense...

With a completely banged up secondary. This isn't a guarantee anymore. Call me hyperbolic. But if we can't get healthy 7 wins is going to be a dogfight
As bad as this loss was, I actually think you can move past it because nothing went right. You burn the tape and move on. That said, the injuries, I have a hard time seeing how we get past that. With no secondary and no ability to create defensive pressure things against USC look dire. And that doesn't even begin to account for our OL woes.
Bad games happen, even terrible ones. This was unacceptable. But it honestly doesn't have to be the end. Sadly though, I'm not sure how the end isn't imminent if we can't field a secondary next week. And for that reason this might be a week that gives us 3 more losses. Just devastating game

Brett, you are slipping....
I’ll say this, I was completely wrong about this team. I really thought this was the beginning of a new Illini football program. And before anyone says, “it was one game”, yes it was one game, and that’s all it takes for a fan base to lose interest. That might be the most embarrassing football game I have watched as an Illini fan since the Iowa 63-0 game. Just can’t happen. Better be an honest post game presser.
