This is worse than that, I’m afraid. It likely knocked us from a 3 to a 4/5. In a year like this, I think avoiding the 1 seeds was crucial for a run.

Unfortunately I think this means we did.
Trent needs to score more. The second half of the season, he's bailed us out with some clutch shots, but I wish he scored steadily throughout the game
They did? Plummer was hesitant because he was sucking and had no confidence.
I thought we played hard. We couldn’t buy a layup to save our lives.

I give maybe a 30% chance of making it past the first weekend. Too inconsistent and it will be our downfall.
I'll take his 0-0 over Plummer's 2-12.

Pretty disappointed. But hopefully this early loss helps us go into the NCAA tournament hungry.
A few thoughts:
Teams that don't hit their free throws don't win in March. This team doesn't hit their free throws.
All due respect to Brad, who is a great coach, but how do you let Plummer shoot you out of that game? Any of the freshmen are better options than leaving Plummer out there to jack and jack and jack. And that's not a shot at Plummer, who I like--it could happen to anybody in a given game but you've gotta adjust.
Make your layups.
Edit: On the bright side, if Coleman has arrived that would a huge boon for this team.
