A few thoughts:

Teams that don't hit their free throws don't win in March. This team doesn't hit their free throws.

All due respect to Brad, who is a great coach, but how do you let Plummer shoot you out of that game? Any of the freshmen are better options than leaving Plummer out there to jack and jack and jack. And that's not a shot at Plummer, who I like--it could happen to anybody in a given game but you've gotta adjust.

Make your layups.
I totally agree. When you don't have it, go to the pine.

We got our championship, not the end of the world
Disagree, slightly. Winning today and losing tomorrow might have been okay, but I fear we just capped our NCAA ceiling at Sweet Sixteen, and even that will be an absolute battle vs. a 4/5 now. This is assuming our current level of play is what to expect.

When you miss dunks, layups and free throws (not to mention turn it over out of timeouts…), how can you possibly expect to come out on top?? Makes it sting so much worse to lose by frickin’ two.

I mean, I can pinpoint 4-5 plays in the last four minutes alone that come down to nothing but us being careless or stupid in the moment. :(

Maybe they were still counting the confetti and had a huge hangover from the other night. This team will either flame out next weekend, or make it thru to the Elite Eight. I’ve accepted that I hope for the best and expect the worst.

I do believe they won’t learn from this, and will continue to have lapses next weekend.

This is disappointing but self inflicted. No ref BS, no ridiculous hot shooting by Indiana. Just a grinder where you missed easy opportunities. You make just one of the missed layups, or dunks or a couple FT and we are talking a different outcome here.

Shake it off, look ahead to the tourney that really matters and know from now it’s win or go home.

I questioned having Plummer in the last 4 minutes as well. I know you're looking for any kind of offense, but you didn't need a 3, and you were shooting 2 at the line every time (regardless of our woes, I'd rather be at the line than see someone shooting a fadeaway trey). I may get shot for saying this, but I'd rather see Monte in that situation than Plummer. Monte doesn't give up layups.

Honestly, I'll take this loss. Congrats to Indiana. I'm still glad we won a piece of the BTT. I'll still take that over the tourney trophy.

Have to make lay ups. Simple as that. Nope Jacob is healthy for the NCAA tournament…

I'm gonna say it. I HATE SOME OF THIS FANBASE. Curbelo did not play bad. He missed a layup, we got the look we wanted. Anyone who genuinely thinks that we could have gotten a better look is delusional. You want your best downhill guy going towards the basket in that situation, and that's what we got. Couldn't make it. Coleman's gotta get a grip defensively in the first half, and not lose himself in big situations at the end. Give me Grandison and we win, but hey, we're finally gonna be full strength in the tourney, at least!?!?!

Indiana is the type of team that will either win this tournament or get to the champ. game and then lose their first game in the NCAA tournament. It's like they will use up all their luck in the BTT.

I have never really cared about the tourney - except last year when Warren screwed us. I am more concerned about our level of play than anything else. We have not played a good game (imho) since Bloomington.
