I just wish he wasn't fading away from the basket. I thought he could have gone into defender a bit, who was off balance. But I will take that shot anyday.

A lot of trolls (or maybe just fans with bad takes) come out of hiding after a tough loss. This loss hurts and I'm upset, but we get out of Indy without any additional injuries and hopefully Grandy will be back for our game next week, wherever it may be. I'm just glad we got this one out of the way today and not Thursday/Friday next week. The 4/5 line is a tougher trek than the 3 line, but still have to beat the team in front of you.
I still wouldn't trade this team for any other in the B1G.

The way I see it, in the tossup games (which is what this one and Iowa were), I would rather win last Sunday and lose today than lose last Sunday and win today.

"Fading away from the defender" on a layup... lol okay, that shows what you know about basketball. The only defender there was behind him, and on the complete other side of the goal.
At least Belo took it to the rack. I didn't like the fact that Hawkins didn't see Trent throw him the ball, but it looked like he was expecting something else. I wish Trent would've kept going...Sunday night can't come soon enough.
Well we had a huge letdown last year after the high of a BTT championship and a 1 seed. Maybe this early exit was the letdown this year. Noe that we got that out of our way, we can come ready to avenge this letdown come tourney time. I actually think this team is better when they feel disrespected or an underdog so maybe that fuels a deep run. Go illinois

I’m not a basketball expert, but I’ll take an open jumper over a contested layup, and you knew they were gonna contest Andre with everything at that point.

We closed he season on a hot streak and were closed out early. Maybe we needed to bomb out the end of the season to make a run in the NCAAs.
Teams like that plenty of times. It's like Georgetown last year.
Surprising how well DMW had been shooting of late. He definitely had at least 2 he just has to shoot. But if he’s not gonna take the open 3, stop dribbling into the lane, stopping and turning around to try and find someone to pass to. All he does with that is waste 5-8 seconds off the shot clock. Just keep the damn ball moving.
How do we expect to win when we have minimum 2 droughts a game of 5 minutes where we either don't make a field goal or even score points. We are so inconsistent it's really frustrating. This was a bad loss. I hate losing to Indiana!
