I always thought that Minnesota was a Power 5 school.
Please forgive me for not looking up his complete bio. How great was he there? Do you not agree? Do you think we should give him an extension? Of course not, you are just trying to play devils advocate.

He did a good job at Minny. Since you seem to know my thought process, I suppose that I should wait for you to tell me what my next thoughts are. I was just pointing out that he had been an OC at more than one Power Five school.

I admit, you got me on that one. My true feelings on proven which was not relayed very well at all means a top notch P5 coordinator with name recognition. One we would have to open the pocket book for like we did for Walters. A big name guy recruits and top level players know by name.

Did he call plays at Minnesota? He was listed as co-OC every year there.

I think Peters has had a different coordinator every year. Even if there is someone possibly better out there as a new OC, the value of a little continuity should be considered.

It’s probably not that important this year with a transfer Qb coming into a new system regardless.

use the pause button on both of the TV feed and the radio feed ....I seldom have to re-sync either but it's easy if you see the need.....I have Hulu live , so I watch the game on my computer on one window and have the radio feed that Dan gives us on another window.....

sometimes i don't go maximized on the tv feed so I can pull up radio feed and sync if needed.....Based on what I have read all season about the terrible announcers on TV I wouldn't care if the radio and TV weren't synced.........

I do this on the basketball games also......it's how I have been doing it for 4-5 years now....
I apologize if this is a really dumb question but where do I find the radio feed?

Thanks.

13 touches for Chase Brown and 6 for McCray, who were both averaging roughly 3 yards a carry, in a close game, is uh…something? They both literally carried against Penn State and combined for 35 touches against Minnesota.

The passing game is not just a weakness, it’s a GLARING weakness. What do the coaches see that gives them confidence in airing the ball out? A casual observer could figure out that the Illinois passing game hurts more than it helps.

Brown was injured for a short period of time. Had his lowest yards per carry of the season by a half of a yard. McCray has not been the same since the Penn State game. He has 13 carries for 31 yards since that game.

Even with all of the incompletions, Illinois was still averaging twice as many yards per passing attempt than they were averaging per carry. Iowa was determined to stop the run and they were successful of shutting down the run game. Peters started hot and cooled considerably. Even with the poor performance down the stretch, Peters was still more successful throwing the ball than Illinois was running the ball.

Huge progress as a unit from last year, but major roster turnover is coming. It will be interesting to see what we have and what we are next year.

This is really being undersold from the comments on here. Illinois played a top-10 defensive unit and put up their most points against a B1G opponent since week 0 AND they couldn't run the ball throughout the game. Longest run for the game was 6 yards. They played a competitive game against a team they haven't beat in Iowa in 22 years.
