I think people are underestimating how much the face value ticket prices suck. $75 a ticket against Iowa in the horseshoe that is 1/3 full right now? Ridiculous. People are struggling with inflation, and it is hard to see a lot of families dropping $300 on tickets, let alone other costs. It is time for the DIA to release some packages to spur some action.

Struggling? As in needing to cut costs? The lines at the Starbucks in my middle class town haven't changed a bit.

I appreciate the best guess feedback from many when I asked what people thought he game time would be. Even though I am still looking forward to attending, I now have some tickets I will not be able to use. I will also be purchasing a night in a !!!!!! overpriced hotel room. Since this was to include some of my kids (with little ones) they will not be able to pull it off. So to all those jackasses that gave me !!!! for my inquiry a few weeks ago, you can all kiss my !!!. I hope the Illini kick Wisconsin's butt and there is a rush for Iowa tickets. If that happens, hit me up, but I probably won't sell for less than face value just out of principle. If it sounds like I'm pissed and overreacting, you would be right. To those that do not understand what it is like to schedule a family event that involves 3 married children that include 5 grandchildren, if you are lucky, you will learn. Until then, once again, kiss my !!!.
