It will be interesting to see if the NCAA implements injury reports similar to the NFL. I believe those came about in response to insider info being used in gambling.

If it ain’t your game, why not?
And when it is your games...
This is something we're going to see more and more of. The plus side of legalization and regulation is that a heck of a lot more people are monitoring it, too. I find the shift in coverage of sports toward the gambling side to be wildly offputting. I get it. People love the dopamine hit. There's money to be made. For me, though, it's just another reason I'm slowly starting to watch sports less and less.

From the Athletic’s article regarding the investigation. So while not an outright ban on sports betting from the NCAA exists per se, there pretty much is one unless they’re gambling on pickleball.

for many reasons really, College athletes on any roster should be prohibited from sports gambling on legit sites or any others not so legit

you wanna play poker with friends or go to a casino for table games , fine. but no sports betting

Humans are what they are, not all can resist.

I’ve noticed this for myself and fantasy football. I’ve stopped caring about the actual games and only care about obscure outcomes like a 50 yard FG. I’ve probably watched more of jaguars games than I have with the bears, which is something wrong.
