Well deserved and hard to do with this years Big freshman class.

A different sport but Epps demeanor reminds me of Bryce Young. No panic in his game. Never seems in over his head. Cool.

Sort of ironic but fortuitous that he got the minutes when Skyy went on sabbatical.
Cart / horse. I think the sabbatical happened because Jayden was going to get those minutes. Either him or Harris, who was the hotter (defensive) hand at the time.

Really hard to get in the BIG all-freshmen team this year. Hood-Schifino, Howard, Foyer, and Sensabaugh probably locked up four spots and the last spot might be given to a big man? But Epps really deserves a spot.
He’s not done yet. Hold those ballots until after the season is over. Epps has an upward trajectory, maybe a steep one.

Michigan State is the only team I think that has a big man that would warrant consideration. I'd say the last spot is between Epps and Braden Smith at this point. Connor Essegian has an argument as well.

I looked up his minutes, and I don't think that's actually true. He was mid-20s right from the start of the season, and had 32 in the Texas win, where he got more minutes than Skyy. His average minutes have only gone up a little, as you might expect from a freshman. Skyy's minutes were going down after the Penn State debacle. He's played really well, but I give him even more credit under the circumstances.

Don’t let the facts get in the way of a good story 😊
it’s all good.
