Jim Cotter dies at 55

"A long-time member of the Illinois beat, Jim Cotter died suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday morning. He covered Illinois games and press conferences for the past dozen years for both WGCY, the Danville Commercial-News and Rivals. Bret Bielema and Illinois defensive coordinator both shared condolences to the Cotter family before their press conference on Monday. Jim, 55, is survived by his wife and three children."
