Classy move by Iowa's sophomore point guard to not break but tie the consecutive free throw record long held by Chris Street: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssfbYH_3Lnk
Going into last night's game against Northwestern, he had a chance to break the school record for consecutive free throws made which sat at 34. That record was held by Chris Street, a player for Iowa in the early 1990s who was killed in a fatal car accident in January 1993 during his junior season while the streak was still ongoing. Street's number is the only number that's been retired by the school in the time since the accident. So when Bohannon came up to shoot the free throw shown above late in the second half, he had a chance to break Street's record. But rather than do that, he intentionally missed it and then later pointed to the sky in tribute to Street.
