I don't know who is causing the frustration though, that is what I am saying. Wagler is getting flowers from all corners. He is properly respected as our team on a local and national level. I live on the east coast and people are on this Illini team. I saw that video and thought they were giving mad love to all things illinois.

What makes Wagler great is not only his efficiency but its his poise, well and he is a great shooter, which is beyond his years. Bad stretches, a forced drive, nothing phases him at all, just all business. I love it. Also, this offense as a whole makes sense, must be a lot of fun to be part of.
He’s not getting the flowers he would had he been a five star. We all know this.

And it’s not even “salty” like some interpret it. It’s just those top10 level prospects have had the scout on them for 3-4 years since they were 15. Wagler’s just this year busted into the spotlight.

It is what it is. The video right above your post doesn’t even mention him as a top 5 freshman.

Has Keaton really never attempted a dunk this year?

Re: Dunks

Remember the Groce days where it almost seemed like dunks were discouraged? I remember when Kofi came around later and ended up way up the leaderboards in dunks and it felt like such a nice change.

This team doesn't seem to dunk all that much overall. But it makes sense based on the style and roster. Also, I have the impression that dunking isn't quite as popular in European circles.

I've never really looked at dunk stats before, but Andrej's 67% on pretty high usage is kinda surprising. I know Coach Underwood went from instant rage to smiling and hugging him in the Tennessee game and the NW game had been decided shortly after tipoff so that one didn't matter. But at this point, using the team's terminology, Andrej's dunks appear to be bronze rather than gold shots. Disclaimer: I don't know the first thing about dunking as I've never been able to on a 10-foot rim (or 9 or 8, come to think of it).
One other thing: I absolutely love the way Andrej has stepped up on defense in Boswell's absence and his warrior mentality.

Surprised everyone has missed the perfect Waglet comp. 6’6”, looking like about a 3 pick in the draft, shooting guard who plays more pg, #23, - 2nd coming of Jordon
