If Kofi transferring was a foregone conclusion Curbelo wouldn't post "Run it back?" The deck is still probably stacked against us, but we shouldn't waive the white flag yet.

We were hearing the same thing about Adam Miller when he was meeting with the staff. Kofi's Instagram post doesn't instill much confidence in a return. Hope I'm wrong and we get a pleasant surprise when he decides.

I believe it's "For my Father". Kofi's dad before he left for Christ the King in New York. Has it as a tag on most of his posts. Coby White of the Bulls does something similar to honor his dad.

Can you imagine the marketing potential of the 2005 team with the new rules?? The 88-89'Flyin Illini? Stratosphere.
This team could end up being a juggernaut just like those teams. ESPN SC every night. Front page of every sports publication. Kofi has the personality to take a Dee Brown like step into the national spotlight....and it could make him wealthy before he sets foot on an NBA roster.

It’s just so crazy to me have to put so much into re recruiting a kid who became an All American with our program lol but times are different!

I thought July 1 was just the deadline to enter the portal to transfer penalty free? So many new rules now it’s hard to keep up.
Not just OA, but Ayo and Giorgi are gone...I confident he would still do great things in Champaign, but maybe, to him, it's not the same place he was leaving.
