Something does not add up here......I keep hearing from folks in the know here that OA has told Kofi to go back to U of I but yet Kofi puts his name in the portal........Outside of U of I or the coaches he's familiar with (OA and Chin) why would Kofi go anywhere else right now.

It's in his best interest to see what each school will do to help him make as much money as possible through NIL. That's it, plus he's mentioned many times that OA is the reason he came to UIUC.

I think he'll transfer to Kentucky. Rather prepare for the worst and be surprised. Kentucky doesn't make sense to me, but let's see how it plays out.

Sorry if I missed an earlier post, but why would OA tell Kofi to go back to Illini? Wouldn't it be in OA's best interest now to make room for Kofi at KY?

I've read on here that OA/Chin had a agreement with U of I that they would not try to recruit current U of I players to go with them to UK. It has also been said that OA/CHIN/BU have mutual respect for each other in regards to this matter ...................................BUT this is college recruiting

I've been saying this for a while now. It's crazy to me that I haven't seen any athletes do this yet. Makes me question the people advising them

Maybe he can do it to raise money for a boys and girls club somewhere and he could televise it on espn. He could call it, "The Decision"
