Let Kofi go. Whatever he wants to do. Thanks and good luck, Kofi. But your jersey should not be hung at State Farm Center if you don't return to Illinois.

Also, what's this stuff about Curbelo going pro after this season? Going pro means you play for money anywhere from the NBA to Lower Slobovia or NIL.
Don't get me wrong, Mr. Curbelo is a magician. Please stay at Illinois.

But I remember Dee Brown, the one-man fast break, who stayed at Illinois all four years. And he was "Dee for Three!".

Just wondering.

And now we go back to what insiders on this board were saying originally

I think you're reading his response wrong, he's just mentioning how KSR and whoever their sources are seem to be burning a bridge with Kofi, giving us more reason he will likely choose ILL.
Actually I was referring to a previous post that I was too lazy to look up... But I do appreciate your comments!

Big Tim says Kofi to Illinois because "Coach Cal nixed the deal"

Did Coach Cal do this because Kofi is not good enough for Kentucky, or because he decided it was ethically wrong to poach in this fashion?

Or, more likely, did Coach Cal nix the deal because Kofi said he was staying with the Orange and Blue?

Or...most likely, Big Tim doesn't know what he's talking about.

Wow. Ethical and Coach Cal in the same sentence. And they said it couldn't be done!
